SHBBINF002 Maintain Infection Control Standards and HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments are prerequisite units for performing cosmetic tattoo services including cosmetic tattooing, body piercing and laser removal as required for Personal Appearance Services (PAS) Licence in Australia. Before enrolling in any cosmetic tattoo courses, you are required to have completed the relevant course for your state’s requirements.

Yes! Academy of Cosmetic Tattoo Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45265). All our training is accredited and nationally recognised.
You do not need to complete the full diploma to be able to learn a skill and run your own business! Choose an individual skills set course – brows, lips or eyeliner – and work as a specialist in that field. And yes, they’re accredited. Browse the skills set courses here.
All cosmetic tattoo courses are a combination of virtual and in-person training. We have made as much of it online as possible to give you the flexibility to learn at home and on your schedule. The practical elements are face-to-face and can be completed at any of our locations across Australia, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Infection control and all business units are Online – Self Directed.

Yes! We can offer a payment plan through TLC and Gocardless. Payment plan options include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit with the remainder debited in equal repayments over 18 months.
Nope! Assessments simply require a simulated environment. You can set up a simulated salon in your home and use a box or microwave as an autoclave for assessments.
